So, Happy is the Hippo, that’s number One Hundred.

Yep, just wrote my 100th poem. So, it might be a bit rough on a few places, but it’s okay I guess.

we follow the tracks
that lead out of the station
we start in london
and end in NYC
it’s new years eve
and the snow is falling dense
the people around don’t care
about us

all that matters right now
is you and me
and the kiss we’re about to share
close your eyes
let it happen
let’s make the magic reality
let’s end what we’ve begun
a year ago

the trains are rushing fast
side by side, hand in hand
we follow them as if
we were bound by the same rules
but we’re not
we’re free to go,
where ever we want to
and so it’s fate that we end up here

together

all that matters right now
is you and me
and the kiss we’re about to share
close your eyes
let it happen
let’s make the magic reality
let’s end what we’ve begun
on a sunny day in january

don’t you know
that this moment won’t
share the laws of reality?
that this moment sets apart
the laws of time and physics?
we can do whatever we want to
and no one will care about it
you’re on my side.

at least in my mind

all that matters right now
is you and me
and the kiss we’re about to share
close your eyes
let it happen
let’s make tha magic reality
let’s end what we’ve begun
when we broke what we promised

when I awake the next day
you won’t be next to me
cause no matter how eager I wish
this is just a dream
and not even one that’s worth
the dreaming.
it’s new years eve
and not a thing changed.
